The Gypsy bounces back to port

Producing independent music in Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle area. Songs of pirates and piracy seem to dominate the overall theme of many current songs by this group. Some with historical backgrounds and some just for the sake of a tasty tune. Outside the overall theme, other songs add to the sounds of blues, pop and rock smoothed out by dynamic musicians with a serious love for crafting good songs. Occasionally, a subtle twist of an ancient cover keeps the crowd rowdy and engaged. Grown men, women and most children sway to the sounds of this bar happy music, filling the room with visions of islands, boats and rum swiggin’ buccaneers.
